We had a fantastic stay at this place. The hotel is conveniently located just outside the town walls, close to the main highway. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with modern and traditional elements beautifully combined. The staff here were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. They provided excellent service, including room service, car hire, and housekeeping. The garden area with its sun terrace was a lovely spot to relax and unwind.

We had a wonderful weekend at this hotel! the location is perfect for those who want to explore the town. It's just a short walk to the old town and all the restaurants, cafes, and bars. it's close to the mountain which provides a peaceful atmosphere. the hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable with quality toiletries and towels in the bathroom. They also provided complimentary bottled water, tea, and an ebike. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast every morning in the garden. It was a delightful stay!

The hotel might be a little difficult to find without the name displayed outside in English.

The guest room at Dali Yanyuan Mountain Retreat was absolutely stunning! I had a room with a mountain view, and it was breathtaking. The cozy lounge and study desk added a nice touch of comfort.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the cable TV in the double room. I prefer to disconnect during my vacation, but I know others might still enjoy it.

The hotel is absolutely stunning, with beautiful architecture and a lovely inner courtyard. The location is perfect, within walking distance of Dali Old Town, Three Pagodas, and Chongsheng Temple. The breakfast, although basic, was always fresh and tasty. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even playing a classical Chinese string instrument for us. I highly recommend staying at this charming retreat in Dali.
